Natalia Sharomova

Natalia Sharomova is a photojournalist from Kyiv, Ukraine.
Her photography captures cultural, political, and environmental themes. She has been active in the field since 2009, working with leading newspapers in Ukraine and documenting significant political events, including her work in the Ukrainian Parliament. Natalia has been closely involved in political affairs in Ukraine and has undertaken a project about Anna Kyivska (Anne of Kyiv 1030-1075) in France.
In 2012, Natalia was honored with the prestigious 'Photographer of the Year' award in Ukraine.
Her notable achievements include winning the XV International Photo Contest "Day-2019".
Natalia is a drone pilot photographer and videographer. Has been leading the aerial project about the Beauty of Land.
Following the onset of conflict in her homeland, she relocated to Farnham, UK, in 2022. There, she has continued her photographic endeavors, contributing to local publications and engaging with the community through art initiatives. Notably, she has been leading the photo project "UNBOWED: Stories of Ukraine" and serving as a photography mentor for "Putting Ourselves in the Picture part 2" with Fast Forward and Anna Fox at the University for the Creative Arts.
